Terms and Conditions Agreement

By registering and participating in GMA lobby day, each person acknowledges and agrees to the following restrictions as the criteria of being accepted to attend.

Information Sharing

The Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) may share contact data included on your registration form to include name, professional title and organization with other attendees and presenters. By registering for this event, you agree to your information being shared.

Anti-Trust Compliance 

It is the policy of ATA to comply fully with the antitrust laws. In order to comply with those laws and to prevent GMA lobby day from being used for unauthorized activities you agree to follow our Compliance Program Concerning Federal Antitrust Laws by registering for this event. These policies will be strictly followed throughout GMA lobby day in order to protect all registrations. ATA staff has periodically been briefed on the antitrust laws by ATA counsel. If, during the course of this event a staff member requests a registrant cease and desist any discussion because of a potential risk, you are asked to cease such discussion immediately and follow the instructions of the ATA staff person. Admittance and Removal 

In ATA’s sole discretion, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the event anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the event or any other attendee.

Views Expressed 

The views expressed by any attendee, speaker, sponsor are not necessarily those of ATA or its representatives. All GMA Lobby Day attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.

Cancellation of Event and/or Education 

GMA lobby day organizers may at any time, with or without giving notice, in their absolute discretion and without giving any reason, cancel or postpone GMA lobby day, change its format or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither the organizers nor any of their officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person.

Although every reasonable effort is made to provide the speakers, topics, and sessions listed, some changes or substitutions may occur. Speakers and sessions are subject to cancellation or change up to and including the day the session(s) are scheduled to be held. Changes or cancellations are made at the discretion of ATA and may be done without notifying attendees. Agreement to attend the webinar acknowledges acceptance of this provision.

Code of Conduct 

By registering to attend you are agreeing to and expected to conduct yourself in a professional and safe manner. Expectations include but are not limited to respect for commonsense rules for virtual behavior, virtual interaction, common courtesy, and respect. Any behavior or act found to be in violation of these guidelines will result in the immediate removal of all parties participating in said behavior or act. Please contact an ATA Staff Member if you feel you have been subject of such violations or if you see violations occurring.

Recording/Live-Streaming of Sessions/ Pictures 

ATA does not allow the photographing, recording, or livestreaming of any session or events unless express permission is given by the speaker, facilitator, or event organizer. This rule is to protect the intellectual property of our speakers, facilitators. Anyone found to be in violation of this rule will be removed from GMA lobby day.

Liability Waiver & Release  / COVID-19 Health Information

By registering for Lobby Days, you assume all risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you may experience or incur in connection with attending. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless ATA, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

Specifically relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic, attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending Lobby Days, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Lobby Days may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of ATA, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in Lobby Days.

In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to the attendee’s attendance at Lobby Days, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by ATA and the venue(s) where Lobby Days is held, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all Lobby Days attendees.
